Storybook Sparrow Studio
Where every story includes everyone.
Bright, inclusive watercolor clipart for creative makers. Small worlds. Gentle stories. More room to belong.
Hello, I'm Adele
Little worlds where everyone gets to belong
I'm a lifelong book lover, an imaginative maker, and a disabled and visually impaired creator. I started Storybook Sparrow Studio because disabled and diverse people deserve to find themselves naturally included in joyful, imaginative artwork.
In my collections, characters explore magical gardens, celebrate birthdays, visit zoos, and make friends. They don't need to explain or overcome anything. They just get to belong.
Each collection builds a welcoming little world with characters, animals, settings, props, and storytelling details that work beautifully together.

Cute is the easy part. Here's what goes into every world we build.
Inclusion woven in
Wheelchair users, hearing aids, AAC, guide dogs, and more appear throughout the story, not in one token corner.
Carefully accurate
Mobility aids, medical devices, Braille, and signs are reviewed for accuracy. When we're unsure, we research before we release.
One cohesive world
Consistent faces, palettes, and proportions mean the pieces actually work together, saving you planning time.
Honest and original
Original characters, clear listing details, and human-directed, reviewed artwork. You'll always know what you're getting.
Coming in the future
